Here Are Our
Consignment Guidelines:

Clothing needs to be in fashion,
which usually means that it was purchased within the last 2 years. We
gladly accept women’s shoes, jewelry, purses and accessories.

Clothes should be in
perfect condition in order to be accepted
for consignment or buyout – no tears, stains, fading, missing buttons or
broken zippers. Clothes in great condition equal great profits for you!
·
Clothes must be
clean, pressed and on hangers.
·
We
accept consignment clothing according to the season:
Spring or Summer
Clothing—February through July
Fall or Winter
Clothing—August through January
·
We
will start a new consignment contract with seven or more items.
·
Please
bring your clothes into the store on Monday through Friday from 11:00
A.M. until 4:00 P.M. without an appointment. Appointments are necessary
on Saturday. Please call to schedule an appointment in order to make
the best use of your time.
·
Our
consignment contracts are 90 to 120 days in duration. The Moth Hole
prices the items based on market conditions. When the item sells, you
receive 40%
of the final
sale price.
·
We
mail checks once a month to all consignors who have earned money in the
calendar month.
Checks are mailed between the 1st and 5th of each
month.
·
At the
end of your consignment contract we donate unsold articles to Sacramento
Food Bank and you receive a donation receipt that you can
use for your taxes! If any of the
unsold articles are priced at $150.00 or more per article, you will be
notified by phone that the consignment term has ended.
Is Our “Instant Cash” Buyout
Option For You?

If you
do not want to place your articles on consignment and your items were
purchased within the last year, try our “Instant
Cash” buyout option. When you use the “Instant Cash” option,
we pay you right away for the items we purchase. One more advantage of
our “Instant Cash” option is that we will consider clothing
regardless of the season. Another great service offered by the Moth
Hole! Examples of brands we purchase with "Instant Cash" are
Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and St.John Knits. If you need additional
